How to find how many views on a report and dashboard

Hello Experts,

Do we have any ootb way to see how many views a report or Dashboard gets in ServiceNow? It will be helpful to remove/delete any reports and dashboards that users are not using.

No, ServiceNow doesn't offer OOTB way to track individual report or dashboard views. However, you can leverage the built-in "Report Statistics" feature to identify underutilized reports.

In ServiceNow, you can find the number of views on a report and dashboard by leveraging Performance Analytics. Here's how you can do it:

1. Performance Analytics Dashboard:

   • Navigate to Performance Analytics > Dashboards.
   • Open the dashboard you want to view the views for.
   • In the top-right corner, there should be a small dropdown arrow. Click on it.
   • Select "View Usage Details" from the dropdown menu.
   • A dialog box will appear showing usage details, including the number of views.

2. Performance Analytics Report:

   • Navigate to Performance Analytics > Reports.
   • Open the report you want to view the views for.
   • In the top-right corner, click on the three dots (ellipsis) to open the actions menu.
   • Select "Usage Details" from the menu.
   • A dialog box will appear showing usage details, including the number of views.

These steps will allow you to see the number of views for both reports and dashboards in ServiceNow using Performance Analytics.

I have checked in PA dashboards but i am not able to find any Drop down for View usage count.

Request you to please guide us or provide us the Screen shot if possible.
