How to format the dollar amounts in PA widget

Hi,

A PA widget displays the sum of currency fields based on the category. However, the data label displays the amount without commas. Is there any way we can format the sum on the widget? See attached.

How have you configured the unit, precision and number format on the automated indicator?

Hi @AndersBGS 

Yes, I did configure the unit as $ (OOTB). When I do a mouse hover, it shows as $182M. But not on the data labels.

Ok, do you have any formula indicator on top of the automated indicator? If yes, have you also configured the currency here?

It seems that there's no possibility to change the data label format that's displaying in the pa widget.

You can refer to an old post below with the same concern.

Format Data Labels on Widgets

You can consider to have another chart type like Score or Scorecard as an alternative.
