How to generate approval using Business rule?

Hi Team,

 

We are using workflow Run script to generate approval. Now we have to add second level of approval. All the changes has been done through workflow.

1. We have one tab for one form

2. When any of the user clicks submit for approval the workflow will execute for that particular tab. The status of the tab will change to InProgress.

3. 1st level of approval record will create in the approval table. Here will consider "Batch Number". [Note: We have created one script include to change the status of the form. When the tab status is Inprogress and the batch number is some unique number then the status of the tab status will change to "Awaiting".

4.(New Requirement) If the approver approves the request then the second level of approval will generate and once the approver approve the request then tab status will change to completed.

 

If I add the second level of approval activity then the existing record with older workflow will not run as expected. How can I add second level of approval without impact the workflow?

Hi @sruthig 

 

I believe the way you are creating approval through run script, you have to create another approval also in same workflow in same way.

 

To help further, could you share screenshot of approval and script you have written.
