Hi,
I want to find configuration items from global search. I have created a search group record for the configuration item but still its not working. can anyone suggest on this. Thank You!

HI
Go to System Definition >> Search Groups >> Create new one >> once you will create you will find related list "Text Search Table".
there you can set the table name cmdb_ci and save it.
i tried to search and it's showing.
Also, Refer to these Product Doc : Global search finds records from multiple tables

NOTE: Above method will only work for UI 16. But for new experience Ui we have to follow the steps which you suggested in the link.
