Hi,
I want to get "Month" report side by side for 2 years. For ex, attached the picture. I tried creating Report with different types (bar chart, columns chart etc), but nothing is showing as similar to my requirement (to have side by side months for 2 years). I could only make Reports with charts straightforward ( all months come one after another and then month from next year starts. I don't want this way, i want like comparison month for years side by side). Could you please help/share me the step by step to achieve this?

Hi @priyaaprab ,
How much knowledge do you have in relation to PA? Based on that you know how to create PA jobs, Indicator sources and automated indicators, then it's quit simple.
- Ensure that you have data collected on the automated indicator back to January 2022.
- Create a widget with check mark in "previous period chart"
- In the previous period settings, set "range of periods" to "years"
- In the previous period settings, set "number of periods" to "2"
Above will give the following result:

Hi Anders,
I am still learning alot in ServiceNow as far as creating actionable metric charts/graphs. I have normally been creating Team Dashboards with adding Reports to look at data. The problem that I been trying to determine if ServiceNow can do is what you show above: comparing Year to Previous Year of data. I see in ServiceNow the Performance Analytics section but am confused what to do from here with "Indicators", "Targets", "Threholds". Am I supposed to create some sort of datasource from these to then build a graph in Performance Analytics? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Jay

Hi @JayR88897546621 ,
Yes, you need indicator source, one or multiple automated indicators and maybe one or several formula indicators (based on your needs). All these things should be combined to show the actual data captured through PA Job (snapshots).

Thank you Anders, that is helpful. Would you be able to give some example screenshots of how those are created and how they are combined because I don't see in ServiceNow how to create those at the moment.
