How to get selected dropdown values and pass it to server script in widget?

Hi folks!

I am trying to get the selected dropdown values in HTML Template and would like to store it in a variable in the server script. Please help me with this.

Hi Fathima,

Take a look at @Chuck Tomasi great edition of NowCommunity Live stream which looked at service portal widgets.

From around 36 mins onward Chuck goes through clicking a button on the HTML which talks to the client and then also the server side code.  It should give you the basics to get started.
