How to handle the tasks which is assigned to a deactivated user?

Hi all,
I have a question here, How to handle the tasks which are still open and assigned to an agent who leaves an organization?

Generally assign tasks to a group so that if someone from the group is not available or leaves, another person from the group can take over and do the task.
If your task is assigned to a group, pick another member from the same group if someone is not there/left.
If your task is given to a single person, talk to the ServiceNow admin/support team to update the task with the current person who is available
