How to hide a list when I do not enter a value in Reference field of Catalog item?

I want to see the list only when I type it in the search column. I don't want the list to appear when I don't enter it. This is the customer's request. Can you make it possible with the reference quality?

Hi @BoHyun Jung 

As far as I know from the Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) features, configuring that specific behavior might not be possible. It's advisable to verify this with HI Support by raising a ticket.

 

Alternatively, you could explore creating a variable type Custom with a widget to build your own reference field. With this setup, you can incorporate events or watchers to control the query based on user input.
