How to hide all the Configuration item (cmdb_ci) records in Configuration item in incident and Reque

Hi,

For the "Configuration Item" field, it is populated with OOB items. Can you hide the OOB items from the "Configuration Item" field? - How to hide all the Configuration item (cmdb_ci) records in Configuration item in incident and Request form.

Can you please help on this.

As per the requirement i need to hide all the records in Configuration item field so if you know how to hide please let me know.

You should not do any modification as this field is part of task table.

If you don't want to use this field then just hide it or remove from the form layout

My clients have own Configuration items so they need to hide all the OOB  records in the Configuration items fields in Incident form. They want only configuration field on the form not configuration item records.

so need to hide can you please suggest me.
