How to hide the catalog item from portal?

There are two catalog items with the same category added to an Order Guide. Technically, if these catalog items are part of an Order Guide, they will still appear unnecessarily on the Service Portal because they belong to that category.

How can I hide both catalog items from the portal without removing their category?
