How to import csv file from a mid server?

Hello,

I have a need to import csv files from the mid server to load into a import set to transform the Software Model table... 

I've tried a number of options from, https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0817437 , but they have all failed so far... 

Has anyone done this before successfully? Are you able to share?
