I am trying to import data in alm_hardware table. but after transferring data the model component field is showing empty. i have mapped source field and target field correctly still facing issue. In excel I have many choices for model component and in target table the model component field is reference type.

Make sure the value in the excel sheet matches the model value in the table else it will not bring the value. And also if it is a new model then that must exist in the SN table before you bring the alm hardware data.
Try to create 1 record manually in ALM Hardware table and see did you find any difference between excel value and form values.

the incoming data is choice but target field is of reference type
In the field map you should set the Referenced field value name so that the incoming value matches with the field from the table being referred
what did you configure?
