How to Integrate SAP with ServiceNow Instance

Hi All,

I want to Integrate SAP with ServiceNow, so that we can create Service request ticket directly in ServiceNow, if anyone can provide document that would be help for me and others.

Yes, It is quite possible to integrate ServiceNow and SAP. You can sync service request tickets and data bi-directionally. You can leverage our SynQ integration platform to achieve this scenario and we have few customers did this integration.

I want to consume web service from SAP. As I want to create incident so this is URL 'https://dev41370.service-now.com/api/now/table/incident'. To consume this link first I need to do some RFC connection settings in SM59.


In technical settings I need to provide Target Host and service no . Need help on this values. If service now admins are supposed to be give this information then to whom should I contact as I have created own instance (via https://developer.servicenow.com/app.do#!/home ).

Hi,

 

You can create ServiceNow incidents directly from SAP GUI using this add-on: https://sta-technologies.com/integrate-servicenow-and-sap/

 

You don't need to develop everything yourself, this is an out of the box solution. Custom fields and business logic can be added by your developers or by your service provider.

Additionally, all relevant information is added to a PDF attachment to the incident, along with a screenshot. This reduces communication overhead greatly.
