how to integrate ServiceNow and PowerBI ?

I am trying to create online reporting system using PowerBI. 

When I log into PowerBI I donot see option to select ServiceNow database.

Need help to connect ServiceNow and PowerBI.

What access or role does the service account need to be given in ServiceNow for PowerBI to be able to use data from SNOW for reporting purposes ?

I'd question the idea of connecting a BI tool directly to a production system. Imagine it was not ServiceNow but your Internet Banking system...

IMHO, the best practice is to create a reporting database on-premise, close to PowerBI. This helps you in many areas including performance and stability.

Please evaluate SnowMirror data replication tool to create a copy of your ServiceNow data and connect your PowerBI to this local DB.
