How to integrate Servicenow with SMS Gateway

Hello All,

I am trying to find our the possibilities of integrating servicenow Notification to SMS gateway.

I have to send SMS notification to a user or a group of users based on the Incident Priority.

What information do i need to provide to my service provider so that i can receive the SMS on my mobile?

Hi Nebu, ServiceNow can send SMS messages to users & groups without the need for a 3rd party service provider. Basic notifications on task (ex: inc, chg, prob, etc.) assignment can generate notifications to email or SMS (text). I believe you need to integrate with Twilio third party application, sms can be triggered based on the priority.

Hi Nebu,



SMS gateways are not free all over the world. For example in EU and ASIA its a paid service.



Why dont you explore the option of using the Mobile App, it consumes only data and you can achieve more than what you can do with SMS.
