How to make 'drag and drop' widget mandatory?

I've encountered a problem: in several Кecord producers we have replaced the usual attachment with a drag and drop (Variable set). The problem is that the attachment should become mandatory when selected certain form field options. Neither UI policy actions nor Catalog Client Scripts in the case of widgets have the desired effect.

Are there any solutions other than reverting back to standart attachment?

So, the inbuilt SN settings prevent making a macro og widget type field mandatory under certain conditions. You have to trick the system by displaying the widget as a text field.
