how to make record producer visible/restrict access based on user's country

Hello EveryOne

I want to make an record producer dynamically visible based on user's country.

I created a table with three fields, visibility required --   Yes/No, Country and Catalog Item List.

If the table contains record producer as Yes for example India, it should be visible only to that country.

If No, user's from that country should not see that record producer in cms portal.

Simply saying need to restrict record producer based on user's country dynamically.

How this can be achieved?

Take a look at User Criteria. You can extend them to include the user's country.

Thank you Thomasi, here requirement is we need to facilitate client to change when ever required. So I am maintaining a table for it with 3 simple fields. In that case how to proceed?

I don't believe you need that table with the three fields since you can use User criteria to define all that instead. That's what it's built for.

I have similar kind of question,

Can we restrict access to the knowledge base articles based on user's country?

I have tried creating a user criteria for this but i could see that the country field is not available in the User criteria form. Instead we have Location attribute but it is not displayed as a reference field so that we can expand and select country field.

Could you please help me to understand the issue?
