We have implemented Discovery in instance 'A' for a customer. Now they want to move all the CMDB related data from this instance 'A' to another instance 'B' which is already a running instance but doesnt have any CMDB data as on today.
Note - Entire CMDB related data should be moved. There are around 80k CIs.
Has anyone done this before? If yes, can you share how you did?
Can it be achieved using IDR?
In case IDR is not considered, what alternatives are available?

Hi @Suggy
Use XML import export, but make sure all reference data must be moved first else it will create. issue.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

Hi @Dr Atul G- LNG Yes I know using XML we can, using CSV or Excel we can.
But my question is more about if anyone has handled such situation as we are talking about huge data sets here with lots of dependent data 🙂
