How to override css in widgets

i have the widget used in two portals i am trying to override the css in the instance but it's not working for me any suggestion please ?

Hello,

What do you mean "it's not working"? What isn't working? Where is an example/screenshot?

You can edit within the CSS to override various pieces of what the widget is doing, but you didn't mention anything there either?
