Tuesday
Hello everyone,
I’m working with ServiceNow RPA and Flow Designer and I’m facing a limitation that I haven’t been able to resolve so far.
Scenario
I have an RPA Bot Process created in RPA Studio.
The Bot Process has input parameters defined in the Start component (Inbound inputs).
The Bot Process is published and active.
I want to trigger this Bot Process from a Flow Designer flow based on a specific trigger and pass input values from the Flow to the Bot Process.
Current situation
In Flow Designer, the only available actions I see under RPA Hub are:
Change Life Cycle Stage Status
Fetch Created Jobs
Fetch Updated Jobs
Start Process
When using RPA Hub → Start Process, there is no option to map or pass input parameters, and the inputs defined in the Bot Process do not appear anywhere in the action configuration.
I also do not see any action such as “Run RPA Bot Process” that would allow passing inbound parameters.
Question
Is there a supported way to pass input parameters from Flow Designer to an RPA Bot Process?
Does this require a specific plugin, spoke, or license (e.g. IntegrationHub RPA)?
Or is RPA Hub → Start Process intentionally designed to run the Bot Process without parameters, requiring an alternative pattern (e.g. intermediate table, record-based context, etc.)?
Any clarification on the official/recommended approach for this scenario would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
