How to populate the "To" field in the client email with the requested for in the catalog task form?

Hi, I have enabled client email for catalog task table, I would like to automatically populate tthe "To" field with the requested for e-mail, the requested for is coming from the requested item associated to catalog task.

Can anyone share some hints how to accomplish this?

Solution:



1) System Policy > Email > Client Templates


2) Select Catalog Task Table.


3) Enter request.requested_for on the To: field of the template.

Hi Jesus,



Go to System Policy > Email > Client Templates and select the template there - Catalog Task [sc_task]. You can have a look on other templates to get an idea how it works. We have it set to request.opened_by.
