How to push existing custom application to GIT Hub

We are having an existing custom application with multiple tables , columns and different scripts. I need to push the entire application including the delete actions performed to a GIT Repo. Is there any best way to do it??

Is the application available in studio? You can use the functionality in there to do this.

Yes, using the commit changes will it push all the files present in the custom application or only files which are changed??

Once we establish the connection between GIT and custom application via studio, automatically the existing application files will be pushed to GIT
