How to redirect the homepage or dashboard by selecting homepage and dashboard from gear icon?

when I clicked on the gear setting in the upper right SN landing page, and selected Homepage or Dashbaord it would not  bring me directly to either. Now I have to Go to the upper left corner and click on the ServiceNow logo. 
How can we achieve this functionality?

I want the functionality when we select homepage or dashboard from system settings it redirects to the homepage or dashboard respectively.

Hello @ravina _1 

 

The System Setting option is not available in newer releases, Kindly use System Properties to do that.

 

Simply you can go to

System Properties > glide.login.home > Change the value to your navigation page.

 

Your required page will reopen after login.
