How to remove state "Assess" from normal change

hi experts, 

I am trying to remove the "Assess" status from the normal change.
I tried to change the include script (changeRequestStateModel) but no matter what I do nothing works, the state "assess " is still the next possible state.
My intention is to remove the state assess and review.

Any ideas that work?

Check the Change Models: Change>Administration>Change Models. 

You should be able to disable/remove it from the state flow. Check the documentation here for more comprehensive information
