how to remove the default value of short description variable

Hi guys,

how can I remove the value of the default value of a variable short description variable, what happen is everytime the requestor submit a request the default short description change automatically I want to remove that default value. I try to look in the variables value in the maintain items but no default value declared on the variable.

Hi @Codi ,

This looks like custom item. Can you check the following:

1)if there's any script related to it in Business rule. Search BR in requested item table.

2) check the FIELD short description (and not variables), if any default value is present via script.

3) If this is OOB,can you share the catalog item name?

Hi @Twinkle S  actually it applies in all catalog item, and I already checked all the BR, client script and the workflow but nothing declares a default value.

did you check workflow or flow is setting the field value?

what all scripts you checked?

Hi @Ankur Bawiskar I already checked the workflow but no script is setting that value in short description and also I checked the BR and Client script nothing is settings this things up
