How to reply to an email received on approval in Servicenow

Hi All,
I have a requirement where if user tries to reply to an approval email (either approve or reject) for the record which is already approved or rejected (not in the requested state).
User should get an email reply again from servicenow that this record is already approved/rejected, your inputs are no longer be considered ..something like this.
