How to request multiple catalog items for a single user?

Hi All,

We are currently using a 2 step process for our catalog items. At the end of the ordering process, we ask the Requested For name.

We would like this change and add the Requested For within the form.  But then, how can we request multiple items for a single user? We would like one sc_request, and then multiple sc_req_item.

Our approval is on the sc_request. The approver approves it only once for multiple items.

If you switch to using Requested for variable, you will end up having Requested Items (RITMs) for different people within the same Request (REQ). Since your approval process is on REQ level, you need to decide if it is okay that the same approver approves a request for multiple users. If that is not acceptable, you would either have to reconfigure your approval process or stick to the current two-step checkout process.

Why are you trying to move away from the two-step checkout in the first place? What is the driver for the change?
