How to Restrict Add and remove button of MRVS in Workspace

I am able to restrict visibility of buttons on UI16 form by using client script but cant restrict in workspace. Since, you cant perform DOM manipulation in workspace using script.  Is there any way other way?

I doubt you can restrict those in workspaces

did you try to make it readonly and see if it's gone?

I can make the whole MRVS read only but that means edit button will also be disabled. I just want to restrict user from adding or removing the rows in MRVS
