how to restrict the KB category via user

Hi All, 

 

Having a requirement that want to restrict the Knowledge category using user criteria. 

Need to enable the 'can read' related list on knowledge category similar to one which is present in knowledge base. 

 

Any suggestion required ASAP.

Hi @Community Alums 

Access to the knowledge contents can only be controlled in ServiceNow at the knowledge base level or per KB article. To prevent others from seeing specific categories, some have created a 'read' ACL. You could try this approach.

Hi @Community Alums ,

That would be a useful feature to have. Unfortunately, ServiceNow cannot restrict access to a category with out of box functionality.
