In need of an Interactive Filter on the cmn_location table for Parent or Region

I have a requirement to add an interactive filter for regions (we are a global org) to an incident KPI dashboard.Our Region is a choice field on the cmn_location table. How can an interactive filter for Region be configured on a dashboard?
