How to see request body/ payload in logs for outbound rest api calls?

I can see the logs, but I can't seem to find the payload that was sent from ServiceNow to an external system in the logs.

Where can I check the payload that was sent from ServiceNow to an external system?

Hi @Admin7267

To view the outbound integration payload sent from ServiceNow to an external system, you need to access the Outbound HTTP Requests log.

In Application Navigator type Outbound HTTP Requests , you will get it

By default , it will not show full Request and resposnse payload.

To check full payload , update following sys_properties in non-prod, once you are done, revert back the changes.

  • glide.outbound_http_log.override: Set type to true/false and value to true.
  • glide.outbound_http_log.override.level: Set type to string and value to all.
  • glide.outbound_http.content.max_limit: Set type to integer and value to 1000 (or higher depending on your payload size)

@Admin7267

it depends on how and from where are you invoking the external API?

is it from flow or via some script etc?
