In this type of scenario you have to create custom role.

And ServiceNow will not charge if you create custom role.

Hi shaik.irfan,

In Order to restrict the dashboard to specific groups, you will have to require role "pa_admin or admin".

  1. Navigate to Performance Analytics > Dashboard Admin.
  2. Click on the dashboard you require to apply the access restriction.
  3. You would find a drop down Field "Visible to" select "Groups and Users".
  4. You will Find Groups and Users Glide List available, select the groups needed and update the Dashboard.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

You can provide a specific role in "Read roles" and "Write roles" fields of the homepage you have designed and add that role to the group to which you want to give access to that homepage.

Thanks,

Mihir

Thanks Mihir, since we want the dashboard to be visible only for 5 users, is it a Best Practise to create a Custom Role and give it to all the 5 users and same applied to Dashboard page read roles ???

Just wanted to confirm will Servicenow cost if we create a Custom Roles ???
