@vivek11

if you are in ESC portal and "My Tasks" page then when you click "Reject" for RITM approval it has text box where user can enter the comments.

Which portal are you using?

If you are using SP portal then you should start using ESC as SP portal is an older one.

For SP portal you will have to clone widget, make changes and then add that widget again.

Hi Ankur, thanks for quick reply. The requirement is the approval comments should be visible to end user.

@vivek11

the comments field will be editable only if user/approver has read & write access to comments field on that table.

Why are you not using ESC portal as that's the portal every customer is migrating from SP?

When your users start using ESC then comments field is OOTB feature and user can enter rejection comments while rejecting.

Hi @vivek11 ,

To enable the display of approval history in the Activity stream in ServiceNow, you need to configure the Activity formatter...

Go to your record in Native Ui classic view:

Click the Filter activity button located at the top-right of the Activity Stream. If Approval history isn't listed among the filters, click on Configure available fields at the bottom of the filter menu.

In the configuration dialog, move Approval history from the left-hand list to the right-hand list of selected fields, then click Save.

Now, re-open the Filter activity panel and select Approval history, you’ll immediately see all approval and rejection logs appear in the activity stream.

Verify the same from the portal side..
