How to sort a list by grouping count in Report?

In a Report, I would like to sort the list of kb_use table by KB article grouping count in descending order.

Please advise me on how to meet this requirement.

If it's not possible, please kindly let me know some alternatives.

is this still the case nowadays? can we still not add a sort by count or countdesc for a specific column?  variables cannot be added as a column in a list view, but they can in list report...

Hi Aki,

had the same issue. I'm not sure if you have performance analytics as module licenced, but there it is possible to sort for the value.

Hi Sebastian- we do have PA. How can we sort by value there? Thanks!

Hi Elise,

you can use the breakdown:

Example:

1. create a breakdown source and mapped to article field of the kb_use table

2. create an automated breakdown

3. add the breakdown to your automated indicator (based on the kb_use table)

4. run your collect job again

5. take look in the analytics hub and you can see the score per article, for dashboard you can create a widget and sort by value.

From the Tokyo release onwards, there is an out of the box UI action to do this.
