how to stop sending mails to particular users

Hi All,
we are in process of closing old tickets which is 3 years old ,when we close those incidents ,there will be mail sent to user ,can we stop these mails reaching user any way supress them ,and it is should not effect current business notifications...

Hi Gova,
Go to user table for that user and select Notification as Disable

Identify which notifications are firing while closing the old ones and disable it. Once you disabled use fix script to close them and enable it..
Last but not least implement this in prod not in business hours..

it would be sent ready mode once you enable the notification again it would send again ...right..?

I think you misunderstood my previous statement. I'm suggesting you to disable the notification
