How to turn off MFA for Admin user in vendor instance

Hi.  I would like to turn off MFA for the admin user in my vendor instance provided to me as part of inclusion in the TPP program.  For the life of me I cannot figure out how to do this.

I've gone to the user admin section and it says it's not active (at least I think so)

I've made sure it's not turned on in the admin role (at least I think so)

In the "Related Links" page that points to >Multi-Factor Authentication and I'm expecting to see a button that says disable MFA, but it's not there.

This article seemed the closest, but I'm still not (apparently) finding what I need):

If anybody could point me in the right direction I would be incredibly appreciative.

Hi Andy,

The attached screenshots are corrupted so I can't see them. You might need to reattach.

Have you checked the Multi-factor user criteria, if admin role was there? You need to remove that from the Multi-factor roles embedded list.

The Related Link Multi-factor Authentication will only appear if MFA is enabled and you are not impersonating any other user.

I hope that helps!

Thanks & Regards,

Hi @MrMuhammad

Without clicking on Active check box is it work, i am not sure without clicking on Active it is impacting mfa or not. Please elaborate more.

Hi Muhammad.  Thank you for the quick reply.  I apologize for taking so long to respond.  I put down SNOW in frustration yesterday and I'm just now gettting back in.

So I hadn't tried this, but when I type "multi" into the navigation pane on the left I don't get any of those options.  This test instance is running New York Patch 9, do you suppose that has anything to do with not seeing this stuff?

I will see if I can find "Multi-factor Criteria" anywhere in the instance though.

So the plot thickens .... just for grins I decided to check our other vendor instance and those multi-factor items do exist?  I'm pretty confused as this point, but I will request this vendor instance get reinitialized.
