How to update Catalog Task variables based on sctask number using Scripted API?

Hi,

I want to Publish API i.e. Scripted API to update any existing Catalog task variable based upon sctask number.

Any suggestions, how to achieve using scripted api?

should be an easy task

1) incoming request will contain TASK number and the variable to be updated along with it's value
