I have a request from a stakeholder to see if we can change the way 2 different reports are viewed.
These reports are built via performance analytics and not classic reports.
The first issue we have is regarding a report that displays the data table below the bar chart. The issue is the date format is incorrect - it's not reflecting the month and year and basically the 1st day of the month and then the month abbreviation. See image below.
2nd ask is to add a comma for numbers exceeding 3 characters.
IE: instead of 1467 or 15782, they wish to be viewed as 1,467 or 15,782.
Reports built via classic reporting, shows the commas.
Reports via PA does not show the comma. Any idea how I can make updates to deliver what this stakeholder is asking?

Kathy are you sure that screenshot is from Performance Analytics? It looks like legacy/classic reporting. If it is, would it be possible to migrate it to Platform Analytics (not Performance Analytics) and see if the stakeholder likes that experience better?

I don't have quick access to an instance with legacy dashboards so I couldn't test but is the data table a configuration option on the PA widget or is it part of the accessibility features? I can't remember this option or find where this is configured.
If the time series is only imposed by the widget and the indicator is collected daily, maybe swapping to an indicator with a monthly frequency would change the labeling on the table?
On the new Platform analytics adding the data table to an indicator reflects the chosen metric.
Similarly the thousand separator can be configured per visualization in platform analytics.
Maybe that is motivation to migrate to Platform analytics?
