How to update the stages in "Step based request fulfillment" flow

Hi Team,

I need to update the OOTB stages in "Step based request fulfillment" flow but this flow is in readonly mode and can't edit the stages in it. Is there any other way were we can modify the stages.

Hi @lambatsaksh 

It's not a best practice to edit the ootb flow.This will create issues during upgrades.

The another option is copy the flow and edit it.

Can you help me out where I can add additional stages like awaiting approval, work in progress, pending, closed, etc. so that when I raise request the new stages should be visible on portal as well. Currently we have service fulfilment, closed incomplete and close complete as OOTB stages but i need more stages to be displayed to the end user.

Can you please help to know where I can add the additional stages in the step based request fulfilment flow like awaiting approval, work in progress, pending, closed? as those additional stages i want to show on employee center portal as well, currently as per OOTB step based flow end user can only see service fulfilment, closed incomplete and completed stages which is not really helpful for end users.
