How to use is(dynamic) One of My Groups

Im trying to use a filter 'Allowed groups is (dynamic) One of My Groups) and then Im clicking copy query in order to use this in A BR query but it takes the sys id of my groups. How can I make it dynamic so that it will take each time the groups of the login user;

You have to create new dynamic filter for this.

As Ravi pointed in comments before you need to create a Dynamic filter. You can check doc link

I don't see any reason yet to create a new dynamic filter for this.

When you would copy the query, it should look something like:

 

assignment_groupDYNAMICd6435e965f510100a9ad2572f2b47744

 

Maybe different field name 🙂 though the sys_id, is the exact sys_id from the out-of-the-box One of my groups filter. That should work perfectly fine when applying a GlideRecord encoded query for example.

 

So your statement "but it takes the sys id of my groups" is not correct. Yes its a sys_id, no it's not the sys_id of your groups. Its the sys_id of the dynamic filter.
