Hi everyone,
I have created a URL field and when I post the folder link to the url field and when I click on it. It dont open the folder like when I enter the path with file:/// in the google chrome url. For example: C:/Users/xyz/OneDrive%20-%20xyz/targetfolder/
Any help would be nice.
Thanks

Hi,
Unfortunately, there is no workaround in ServiceNow as this isn't a ServiceNow issue. It's a browser security issue.
Please consider marking my reply as Helpful and/or Accept Solution, if applicable. Thanks!

Hi,
From my knowledge, this is due to browser security. I believe the network path would work from a ServiceNow URL field perspective, but per your browser, the security there won't allow you URLs like that to open files/folders on your computer. It would require you to adjust things on your browser or use a browser extension such as: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/enable-local-file-links/nikfmfgobenbhmocjaaboihbeocackld?h...
