HR Cae auto-closure cancels the approved approvals on RITM

We have configured a flow to auto-close the stale LCE cases (after 90 days of record generation). In that flow, we update the HR case state first to awaiting acceptance and then to closed completed, because directly updating the record to closed completes keeps the case in the awaiting acceptance state.

When the HR case is autoclosed (by this flow or manually), we have observed that all the approvals on the RITMs of that case (even if approved) get canceled. Is this OOB behavior? If not, what could be causing this approval cancellation?

Hi @ArpitaVK ,

 

This is an OOB behavior. Whenever an HR case is closed all the related processes gets cancelled/closed. It auto-cancel any attached playbook, flow, workflow, RITMs, Learning tasks.
