HRecord an SR to be part of an Update Set

Hi Everyone,

I have an SR which I wanna push to another instance using update set.

What is the easiest way to record / capture the SR to be part of an Update Set?

I know an option to Export the SR as an XML then Import it but with this way it's not really capturing everything.

Hi @Tom89 

Please note that capturing an SR in an Update Set will not capture all related records such as tasks, comments, etc. If you need to capture these related records, you will need to manually update each of these records while your Update Set is the current set.

Also, remember that moving data (like SRs, Incidents, etc.) between instances using Update Sets is not a recommended practice. Update Sets are designed to move customizations, not data. For data migration, you should use other methods like Import Sets or direct database operations.
