Hi Everyone
It has been a while since I interacted on the community.
Hope everyone had a good new year and term 1 is going well 🙂
I have an issue with Lifecycle events.
I made a copy of "New Hire Onboarding" HR Service and called it Employee Onboarding.
I made a life cycle event called Employee Onboarding. Just omitted some activities from activity sets and did not enable rescind.
I created a record producer with 25 fields exactly as in the OOTB Record Producer and copied the one line of script from "what it will contain" tab that invokes client scripts to populate a Lifecycle Event Case. I even turned off the "Turn on ECMAScript 2021 (ES12) mode" as seen in the original record producer.
When I use the original record producer with the original life cycle event, everything looks fine.
When I use the Original Record producer with my new lifecycle event, Subject Person in HR Case is empty.
When I use the new record producer, Subject Person is not populated in the HR Lifecycle Event case table and therefore, an entry is not created in sys_user for the new hire. A HR profile is also not created, the HR Case for "Account Notification" HR service is closed though.
I get the following in Lifecycle event case description -
The following fields have been provided:
First name: Luciana (original value: System)
Last name: Orr (original value: Administrator)
Personal email: LucianaOrr@employee.com (original value: admin@example.com)
Employment start date: 2026-02-19 (original value: 2014-05-11)
Location type: Office based
Title: Senior Developer (original value: Director of Infrastructure)
Department: IT (original value: Finance)
Manager: System Administrator
Company location: 100 South Charles Street, Baltimore,MD
Needs work visa: true
Needs to transfer work visa: true
Needs relocation assistance: true
In the beginning, I thought it might be the record producer, but it is looking more like the Lifecycle Event I created might be cause the issue. I am not sure what I missed.
I have attached screenshots.
Best Regards
Anu

Upon further investigation, I have come to realize that both the lifecycle event and Record Producer that I created from scratch are fine.
The HR service I created seems to be causing the discrepancy.
Only issue I can think of is that I created the HR service under the Human Resources: Lifecycle Enterprise instead of the Human Resources: Lifecycle Event Application scope. Could that be the issue?
