Implementation of the OCR component

I recently came across a ServiceNow product documentation regarding the Use of the OCR Text Component.
However, in the document there's no mention of how to activate / select / implement the component. 

It comes under Robotic Process Automation (RPA), but I haven't found anything related to RPA in my personal instance, do I need to activate any plugin before I can start using the component? 

Can someone with experience in this field help me with the steps to implement the component.
