Import Set Row state definition

Does anyone have a definition for the import set row sys_import_state's

And what script/business rule is run to set the sys_import_state value's on am Import Set Row

I can see the state values but there is no documentation for the definition of these nor what is running to set them.

I'd rather not make an assumption to the definition to a state which is what i need unfortunately for a project

Thanks Davie but I see only one Business rule: Reload import sets that is responsbile for state change for Import Set Row table.

Must be hidden somewhere, obvious searches for field names etc didn't come up with much for myself.  Thanks for looking though.
