Inactive approvers showing up in my task reports

Hi 

I am trying to run a report of all closed tasks which works ok. But there are few requests where the approvers are in active. How do I eliminate those users?

Can you provide which table your report is reporting on, as well as where you are seeing inactive users? Screenshots would also help narrow this down.
