inactive catalog items Service portal

Hi Everyone,
I had a question related to service portal OrderGuide. In the Order Guides we have "Mobile devices" and "Type of laptop" variables. When i select "Type of laptop" is "Mac" in the Next tab we will fill the all required information about the Mac but this catalog item inactive so in that way in the Next tab it is not showing any mac related form. In the CMS portal it is showing the Mac related information even if it is inactive. Is there any solution to display inactive catalog items in OrderGuide.

If it is supposed to be active, you should activate that catalog item.
If it is not supposed to be displayed, remove the option from order guide.

Thanks for the reply. We don't want to order that item seperately but it should order from Onboard Order Guide. I am trying to update Sp Orderguide widget but results are not coming my way as i expected

You can remove the category from that catalog item, so that it is not listed as a catalog item and only displays in an order guide

if we did that it will be displayed in the search right.
