Inbound action - Update catalog task

I have a inbound action created 'update catalog task', which will post the email received to the catalog task as a comment. However, this is the error I'm getting on the email log:

Update Catalog Task : did not create or update sc_task using current

the user who is responding should have write access to that record

if not then it won't work
