Incoming emails with large attachment

Hello!
Can anyone confirm if the following assumptions are correct for incoming emails?
1. If an email has an attachment larger than the email size configured in the instance, it will bounce back and there will be no SN logs available that SN received the email.
2. If an email has multiple attachments, SN will receive the email. It will only attach files that reach the configured email size for the instance and delete the others that exceeded.
